Reflection
Naomi came back to her hometown with less than she left with, and said so out loud without softening it. Starting over in front of people who remember your better years is its own specific fear.
PRAY
God, I am back at a beginning I did not choose, and I am tired of explaining it. Let me say plainly what I have lost without letting the loss name me.
Amen.
