Nurse Him for Me
“Take this child and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.”

Reflection
What she released came back into her own arms — and she was paid to do openly what she had been risking her life to do in secret. Not every story ends this way, but this one names the possibility fear refuses to consider.
PRAY
God, my fear has only ever rehearsed the losing version. Let me hold the possibility that what I release could be returned to me changed, and let me live today without deciding the ending.
