The Decree
“Who is the god that will deliver you out of my hands?”

Reflection
Three men are given a public choice with a private cost: bow, or burn. Fear grows loudest where the pressure is legitimate — real authority, real consequence, no exit that keeps everything intact.
PRAY
God, I am standing in front of something that can actually cost me. Keep me from pretending the danger is smaller than it is, and keep me from deciding who I am based on what it threatens.
Amen.

Pressure can set my circumstances; it does not get to set my character.
