Joshua 3:15
Reflection
They arrived at the crossing in the one season when the river was highest. The timing feels like a mistake, and it is worth noticing how often the thing you are asked to do arrives when conditions are at their worst.
PRAY
God, the timing of this is terrible and I keep reading that as a sign I have it wrong. Give me the steadiness to look at the water honestly and still move toward it.
Amen.
