New Mercies

“His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.”
Lamentations 3:22–23

Reflection

However the night went — restless, wakeful, afraid — morning does not carry it forward. Mercy is not a rollover balance; it is reissued at sunrise.

PRAY

God, thank You that hard nights do not tax new mornings. Whatever tonight brings, let me wake to mercies that keep no record of my worst hours.

Amen.
