Why Are You Afraid
“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Reflection
The question comes after the calm, not during the panic. It is not a rebuke for feeling afraid; it is an invitation to examine what fear had convinced them was true.
PRAY
Father, when the water settles, show me what fear talked me into believing — about You, about myself, about how this ends. Correct it gently, and let the correction stay.
Amen.

Fear tells me things I would never say out loud; those things are not true.
