The Least in My Father's House
“My family is the poorest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.”
Judges 6:15
Reflection
His first response was a résumé of reasons he was the wrong person. Fear of inadequacy is persuasive precisely because its facts are usually accurate — he really was the youngest of the smallest family.
PRAY
God, everything I listed about why this should not be me is true, and You have not withdrawn the ask. Let me stop auditioning for it and simply begin.
