They Laughed at the Work
“If a fox climbed up what they are building, he would break down their stone wall.”
Nehemiah 4:3
Reflection
Before anyone attacked the wall, they mocked it. Contempt aimed at unfinished work is effective because early work always does look fragile — and the builder knows it better than the critics do.
PRAY
Lord, someone is making my effort sound ridiculous, and part of me agrees with them. Keep me building through the stage where the work cannot yet defend itself.
Amen.
DECLARE
Unfinished is not the same as worthless.
