Three Months Hidden
“She hid him three months.”
Exodus 2:2
Reflection
Her first instinct was concealment, and for three months it worked. Most parents know this stretch: the danger is real, the protection is total, and it is quietly running out.
PRAY
God, I have been holding this child close and keeping the danger away by sheer effort. I am tired, and I am afraid of the day my covering is not enough. Stay with us in that.
Amen.

I can protect fiercely and still not be able to protect forever.
