Twelve Stones
“When your children ask, What do these stones mean to you? — then you shall tell them.”
Joshua 4:6–7
Reflection
They carried stones out of the riverbed and stacked them, because they knew they would forget. Memory is not automatic; fear overwrites it fast, and a deliverance you cannot recall cannot steady you next time.
PRAY
God, I have forgotten things You have already done. Help me mark this one so that the next frightened version of me has something solid to look at.
