COURAGE STORY · THE SHIPWRECK · ACTS 27
DAY 03
Take Some Food
“Today is the fourteenth day you have been in suspense and have gone without food. I urge you to take some food; you need it to survive. He took bread, gave thanks to God, and began to eat.”
Acts 27:33–35
Reflection
With the ship about to break up, the leadership move was a meal. Crisis convinces you that ordinary care is a luxury, and the opposite is true — eating, sleeping and resting are what make endurance possible.
PRAY
Father, I have been running on nothing and calling it urgency. Return me to basic care. Let me eat, sleep, and keep going at a pace a body can survive.
Amen.
DECLARE
Ordinary care is not a distraction from the crisis.
TODAY'S PRACTICE
Do one physical thing you have been skipping: a real meal, water, an hour of sleep, a walk outside.
