If I Perish
“I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
Esther 4:16
Reflection
She did not go because she felt ready or because she expected to survive. The decision was made before the reception was known, which is the only place courage can be decided.
PRAY
Lord, I keep waiting to feel brave enough. Let me decide this while I am still afraid, and then keep me steady long enough to actually do it.
Amen.
