The Living Shall Praise You
“The living, the living, he shall praise you, as I do this day.”
Isaiah 38:19
Reflection
Afterward, he wrote it down. What he had learned in the worst week of his life became a text other frightened people could read, which is what suffering can become when it is not wasted.
PRAY
God, do not let this season pass through me without leaving something usable behind. Make what I am learning here into something that steadies someone after me.
Amen.
