I Have Seen Your Tears
“I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.”
Isaiah 38:5
Reflection
Hezekiah was given more time. Many faithful people are not, and this story is not a formula that produces years — prayer is not an alternative to care, and an outcome is not a grade on anyone's faith. What the verse insists on first is the hearing and the seeing, and that part is promised to everyone.
PRAY
Father, I will not pretend to know what You will do with this. I am asking plainly for healing and for time. Whatever comes, let me be sure I was heard and my tears were seen.
Amen.
