Many Days
“She went and did according to the word of Elijah; and she, he, and her household ate for many days.”
1 Kings 17:15
Reflection
There is no dramatic scene at the end of this story — just many ordinary days of a household eating. Provision that keeps arriving quietly is easy to stop noticing, and noticing it is most of what steadies a frightened mind.
PRAY
God, let me notice what keeps arriving. Before I count what is missing tomorrow, let me count what was actually on the table today.
