The Jar Did Not Empty
“The jar of meal was not emptied, and the jar of oil did not fail.”
1 Kings 17:16
Reflection
What she got was never a stockpile. It was a jar that kept not being empty — enough each time she went to it, and never more than that, which is a harder gift to trust than a lump sum.
PRAY
Father, I keep asking for a surplus so I can stop depending on You daily. Teach me to trust a jar that refills instead of a pile that reassures.
Amen.

Enough, repeatedly, is a real kind of provision.
